CWHI

⬢ Design

CWHI (CNOOD-Wenchong Heavy Industries) is a leading manufacturer of energy infrastructure across a range of sectors, including offshore wind and other offshore energy projects. Operating from four fabrication hubs in China, they produce one of the most comprehensive product ranges in the world, operating at the forefront of global energy development.

As a key supplier to the offshore wind sector – and therefore an important player in the energy transition – we were excited to collaborate with CWHI. This project built on our experience supporting other organisations committed to sustainable development, including work with NECCUS, the alliance for industrial decarbonisation. Our task was to bring CWHI’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) report to life – a document detailing how this major manufacturer is contributing to a responsible and ethical energy future.

Our challenge was significant: tens of thousands of words across numerous pages, demanding careful design to ensure clarity, engagement, and consistency. Using CWHI’s own photography and visual identity, we created a striking, accessible layout filled with feature spreads, infographics, and clear signposting to guide the reader. Working closely with CWHI’s team through multiple iterations, we ensured every element aligned with their ambitions, producing a final report that balanced depth and accessibility.
